Canadian Registered Nurses Examination (CRNE) Preparation Workshop
Canadian and Internationally Educated Nurses who are preparing to write the official licensing examination for RNs are encouraged to attend this one-day workshop. The CRNE is the national licensing exam that all RNs are required to successfully pass in order to register as an RN in their home province. Proper preparation for the CRNE is extremely important in order to ensure your success on this challenging multiple choice examination.
This workshop includes a review of what is tested on the CRNE, available study resources and tips on writing multiple choice questions. Practice questions are discussed and participants undergo a “mock exam”, with a focus on addressing issues such as anxiety, timing and coping strategies for stress. Participants will also learn how to do a thorough self assessment of their learning needs and to develop a realistic study plan.
Participants are also advised of our Resource Room, which has ample study resources including textbooks, videos and computers. This room is available for group or individual study from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Some resources may be borrowed.
